CHINATOURDMC PARTNER POLICY
What Is ChinaTourDMC’s 24/7 Emergency Support Line?
ChinaTourDMC’s 24/7 land service emergency support line is +86 131 8611 1931. Overseas partners, group leaders, and travelers using land services confirmed with us may call this number when an urgent situation affects their tour in China.
What Does 24/7 Land Service Emergency Support Mean?
We provide 24/7 land service emergency support while your clients are traveling in China under services confirmed with us. If an urgent problem affects the operation of the tour, the group leader, guide or overseas partner can reach our China-based operating contact at any time.
Our role is to coordinate the local response, communicate with the people and suppliers involved, and help the journey continue as smoothly as circumstances allow. The aim is simple: your clients should leave China with good memories, while operational problems in China create as little hassle and additional workload as possible for your team overseas.
When Is the Emergency Contact Available?
The 24/7 emergency contact is available throughout the operating period of a confirmed ChinaTourDMC land-service booking. The relevant contact details and reporting channel are provided to the partner or group leader before the tour.
Routine requests and non-urgent amendments should still be sent during normal working hours so they can be reviewed properly. The emergency channel is intended for time-sensitive matters that could materially affect traveler welfare or the delivery of confirmed ground services.
What Types of Situations Can We Coordinate?
Depending on the confirmed services and the circumstances, our operating team may assist with:
- A guide, driver, vehicle or other confirmed local service that has not arrived as expected
- A hotel check-in, rooming or supplier problem requiring immediate local communication
- A delayed, cancelled or missed domestic transport connection affecting the itinerary
- An attraction closure, severe weather condition or local control requiring a practical route adjustment
- A traveler becoming unwell and needing help to contact the group’s insurer, medical-assistance provider or an appropriate local medical facility
- Lost travel documents or personal belongings requiring coordination with the guide, hotel, transport provider or relevant local authority
- Another urgent land-service issue affecting the safe and practical continuation of the tour
How Does the Response Work?
The response normally follows four practical steps:
- Confirm the travelers’ location, immediate situation and the service affected.
- Contact the guide, driver, hotel, supplier or relevant local organization.
- Identify the available solution and explain any timing, service or cost implications.
- Keep the group leader or overseas partner informed until the urgent operational matter is stabilized or handed to the appropriate professional service.
Where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect travelers or prevent further disruption, our team may first secure a practical local response and then provide the operating details to the partner as soon as possible.
Medical Situations and Travel Insurance
We can help coordinate local assistance, including communication with the tour leader, hospital, transport provider and the traveler’s international insurance or medical-assistance service. We can also help reorganize affected ground arrangements where possible.
ChinaTourDMC is not a medical provider or insurance company and cannot make clinical or insurance-coverage decisions. Travelers should carry comprehensive international travel insurance and keep their policy and emergency-assistance details accessible during the journey.
What Is Covered by the Support Service?
Emergency coordination relating to services confirmed and operated by ChinaTourDMC is part of our land-service support. However, replacement tickets, additional rooms, medical care, special transport, document replacement and other new third-party services may create additional costs.
Where circumstances allow, we will explain and seek approval for additional costs before confirming a new service. In a genuine time-sensitive situation, immediate action may be required, and supporting records will be provided afterward where available.
What Is Outside the Scope of Land Service Support?
The emergency contact does not replace the police, fire service, ambulance service, embassy or consulate, airline, travel insurer or qualified medical provider. It also does not cover services booked independently and not disclosed to or controlled by ChinaTourDMC, although our team may provide reasonable directions or coordination assistance when possible.
What Information Should Be Provided in an Emergency?
- Group name or booking reference
- Traveler or group leader’s name and current location
- A short description of what has happened
- Whether anyone requires immediate professional assistance
- The confirmed service or supplier involved
- A reachable telephone or messaging contact
Clear information helps us contact the correct local people quickly. The group should follow instructions from emergency services or relevant authorities whenever immediate safety is involved.
Support for the Overseas Travel Partner
Our overseas partners should not have to solve a China ground-service problem from another time zone without local support. We remain involved on the ground, provide factual updates and coordinate the local actions within our responsibility.
This does not mean that every disruption can be prevented. It means that when an urgent operational problem occurs, there is a China-based team responsible for responding, coordinating and helping bring the tour back on track.
